Butterfly Pavilion

September 30, 2013

I’ve lived in the area 15 years and I finally made it to the Butterfly Pavilion.

We came up with a brilliant project:  butterfly wings, spread out, are shaped like shawls.  We should knit shawls based on butterfly colors.

(I will never run out of projects.)

  1. That would be so cool! I don’t wear shawls, but that might make me want one!

Ooooh or butterfly wing cardigans … wanders off pondering.

We love going when it first opens before the big buses of visitors arrive. It’s not far from the house. It’s nice going in the winter when it’s snowing outside and it’s all nice and snuggly tropical inside. Did you hold Rosie the Tarantula?

  4. and you could change the shape of shawl to be closer to shape of wings?

Looks like a nice place to visit
