finally feels like home

November 28, 2011

I’m declaring myself officially completely moved in:  the bookshelves are up.

I still have some work to do.  I need a couple of extra shelves to fill in spaces, and I still have a dozen or so boxes in various states of unpacked.  This is only some of the books, you realize.  The Ego Shelves are in the office and basement, and most of the mass market paperbacks and ARC’s and extras and stuff will end up in the basement, too.  But holy cow, it looks like a library.  *happy dance*

we have the same look in our library, but we got ours at Ikea. Love it there. They even have extra shelves for the cases.

Awesome! I hope to have a library like this one day.

As a matter of fact I have a good start on one already as I have two of those A-frame shelves from when Borders was closing a lot of its stores (but before it entirely closed as a business).

    Great library, Carrie!

Looks great. It’s nice to have room to put the books out. It’s also great to have the boxes unpacked. Hope you’re able to find everything! It’s been 1.5 years since we moved here and I still don’t know where some things are. (perhaps when we move again, they’ll show up….)
