ideas are like oxygen: a journal by Carrie Vaughn
Kitty and The Midnight Hour is in French!
The french model is very pretty… although not blond.
zut allors! (I have no idea what that means :-))
And yet, judging from the cover, they forgot that Kitty is blonde…
BTW, thought you might be interested in this. The illustrations in it of werewolves transforming is pretty much how I imagine the transformations in the Kitty books — anatomically “correct”, but nothing as horrific as An American Werewolf in London.
Amused to note that the title translates as “Kitty and the Midnight Waves” — I assume the last word should be read as “airwaves” and “The Midnight (Air)waves” is presumably the title of her radio show in French.
Congratulations! Is this your first translated work?
The books have been in German for a couple of years now. French and Polish are next up.
Must admit, I like that brunette Kitty much better than the blond one.
The hair color doesn’t matter, that’s a very cool cover! Congratulations!
I actually like this cover much better than the US mass market.
