new Prometheus promo video

So there’s a new promo video for Prometheus, and it’s fabulous. I’ve talked about the uncanny valley before, right? That place where robots are almost but not quite human, and how creepy that is? I think this clip has hit on an emotional uncanny valley. Almost human emotions, but there’s just something very, very wrong. Very HAL 9000, which I can’t help but think this is a bit of a tribute to. So cool.

I am not sure if people in charge of such things realize blocking a promo video due to copyright is a bit counter-productive to its inherent purpose…
